WESTMINSTER — Police are looking for Brian Frye, 30, who is suicidal and possibly armed with a bomb.
Police were told at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday that Frye was in his apartment in the 9000 block of Vance Street after threatening suicide.
When police reached Frye’s apartment, he was gone, but they found bomb-making materials and a note saying he planned to kill himself.
Authorities evacuated the apartment building and called in the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad to remove the explosives from the apartment.
Frye drives a dark blue 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer, possibly with the license plate 427-DMX.
Police asked the public to use “extreme caution” if Frye is spotted, and not to approach him.
