Mark Warner has gone from governor of Virginia to much-hyped presidential prospect to U.S. Senate candidate. On Monday, the Democrat, left, is due in Denver for a fundraising luncheon at the Palm restaurant hosted by Gov. Bill Ritter. Other VIPs on the invite list include Norm Brownstein, Cole Finegan, Ken Gart and Jim Lyons. Former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore also is running for the Senate seat being vacated by fellow Republican John Warner.
