Denver International Airport had a record 3.8 million passengers in February, up 8.9 percent from the same month of 2007.
Leap Year inflated the figure, DIA acknowledged. But without the extra day, traffic was up 5.1 percent.
The number or flights at DIA grew 7.4 percent in February compared with a year ago.
