Leading 3-2 early in the third period, the Irish were called for too many men. Michigan tied the game late into the power play, but the Irish were able to come back and win in overtime.

With Notre Dame up 3-0, Irish goalie Jordan Pearce gave up two goals just 15 seconds apart in the second period as Michigan began its rally.
