Aurora police have arrested a second suspect in the robbery of a store last week in which the SWAT team shot a suspect.

Arrested today was Donald A. Howard, 20, of Denver, who was taken into custody without incident, according to police. He has been charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping, menacing and conspiracy. He is being held on $50,000 bond.

Howard’s arrest came in connection with the armed robbery of the Party City store at Parker Road and Iliff Avenue last week. Police responded to the robbery, during which officers shot another suspect, Robert C. Stafford, 22, of Denver.

Stafford is still under medical care for his injuries, and has been charged with aggravated robbery, menacing and kidnapping.
