A local television photographer has been arrested for interfering with Denver police, according to television reports.

KUSA-TV reported that a photographer for KDVR-Channel 31, was arrested early today for reportedly interfering with police activity while officers were investigating an accident early today.

Denver police spokeswoman Sharon Hahn confirmed to the station that someone from Fox 31 News was arrested for disobeying to a lawful order.

The incident happened at around 2 a.m. after police got a call that a sport-utility vehicle went into Cherry Creek at Cherokee Street and Speer Boulevard, KUSA reported.

KMGH-Channel 7 reported that the initial call was for shots fired at Speer and 8th Avenue.
