The Denver coroner today identified a man stabbed to death over the weekend as Richie Morales, 31.
The cause of death was “sharp force injuries to the chest and abdomen,” the coroner said in a statement. The death has officially been ruled a homicide.
Edgar O. Herrera, 27, is being held on investigation of of first-degree murder, police said in a news release Sunday.
A call came in Saturday about 6:00 p.m. of a fight in the 1400 block of High Street. Officers responding found a man with stab wounds, who later died at the hospital.
