Re: Care and Feeding of a “Pescachicketarian,” April 9

I’m all for letting kids experiment and try new things. I am not all for being a short-order cook. If you can make concessions without compromising your integrity, go for it. But picky eaters really burn me, especially if they are picky just because they refuse to try anything new. If your family expects you to cook six different meals for six different people — tell them they can cook for themselves! I see you’ve managed to work through this phase of your daughter’s life with grace — congratulations.

Re: Dining: Cherry Creek Grill, April 9

Normally I’m right there with Tucker but I’m parting company on Cherry Creek Grill. It used to be a favorite but times have changed and my last few visits I’ve been disappointed in the food and totally ripped off. You could easily be at a fine dining restaurant (and this is not) for the tab here.

I also don’t care for the “scattered service” concept — who the heck is my server anyway? Cocktails are good but they shouldn’t be ringing in at over $10. I’m surprised about the rating after being referred by Tucker to go to other places for enchiladas, ribs and chicken. That equals “very good”? Not in my book.
