Whether you’re looking to get a jump on spring runoff or for a mud-season getaway beach junket, Smith Optics’ latest line of polarized shades have you covered.
Using the lens tints and tech that made the Action Optics sunglass line a top choice among watermen, the refreshed styling of the Smith Hideout (MSRP: $179) is easy on the eyes both coming and going as a cornerstone of Smith’s new microsite: .
The individually ground and polished Polarchromic Techlite Glass lenses sandwich a high-grade polarized film between two layers of optical quality, lightweight, shatter-resistant glass in copper or brown tints that adjust to the ambient UV light available. Both sides of the lenses have a hydrophobic and scratch-resistant coating applied, and an anti-reflective coating is added to the backside of the glass to prevent the obnoxious reflection of yourself in backlit situations.
Bottom line: You’ll see better and look good doing it.
