Today will be warm, with high temperatures expected in the upper 70s, and breezy in Denver.
Tomorrow will be warmer still, as the high temperature for the city and surrounding areas on Tuesday flirts with 80 degrees, the National Weather Service said.
It will be breezy today, with winds gusting up to 20 mph in Denver and tomorrow gusts could hit 25 mph, the weather service said.
The weather service will post a fire watch Tuesday for the eastern plains because of the warm, windy conditions.
Overnight lows in Denver today and tomorrow should be mild, dipping into the lower 40s.
After two warm days the weather should take a turn on Wednesday, the weather service reports, with mostly cloudy skies bringing a chance of rain and snow to the city. The high temperature Wednesday should peak out in the upper 40s.
The Pacific front that brings moisture to the city will send Wednesday’s overnight low down into the upper 20s, the weather service said.
The weather in Denver, however, should rebound on Thursday with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature near 54 degrees, the weather service said.
