DACONO, Colo.—A Thornton man is dead after he lost control of his homemade motorcycle near Dacono.
The Colorado State Patrol says the 33-year-old Thornton man was northbound on Interstate 25 when he ran off the highway into a depressed median. The man was ejected from the motorcycle.
The State Patrol says the man was not wearing a helmet. He is not being identified until his relatives are informed of his death. The investigation into the crash continues but drugs and alcohol are not a suspected factor.
