Firefighters had to cut two people from their mangled automobiles this morning after a three-vehicle accident in Aurora.

The accident happened at about 7:40 a.m. on northbound Parker Road just east of Interstate 225, said Capt. Mark Turley of the Aurora Fire Department.

Three people were taken to Medical Center of Aurora to be evaluated for minor injuries, Turley said in a press release.

The accident, which tied-up rush hour traffic in the area, is being investigated by the Aurora Police Department.
