A 16-year-old girl told the Weld County Sheriff’s Office that she was abducted early Saturday from a bar parking lot and sexually assaulted.
The girl arrived at La Maravilla bar in Fort Lupton to meet a friend at about 1 a.m. Saturday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
She told officials that a man came up to her in the parking lot and forced her into an SUV. He drove her to a location she couldn’t identify, showed her a knife and assaulted her.
He then dropped her back at the bar parking lot.
She told officials the four-door SUV was black or dark-colored, maybe a Ford Expedition.
