The board of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver on Thursday appointed Stephen Carattini, the agency’s chief operating officer, to replace Chris Rose as interim president and chief executive.
Rose, who had taken over the posts in January, resigned Monday.
The archdiocese said that Rose “chose to resign” and it could not comment further. Rose, who previously served as a lawyer with the archdiocese’s lobbying arm, replaced Jim Mauck.
