REDWOOD, Miss. — Authorities say an explosion at a paper mill in Mississippi has killed one person and injured at least 16 people.
The Warren County deputy coroner said everyone had been accounted for at the International Paper mill in Redwood. A sheriff’s deputy had reported earlier that two people died and that nearly a dozen people were missing.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation. The mill employs about 300 people.
