A field of dreams became a park of groans for St. Louis left fielder Chris Duncan on Monday night. He committed back-to-back errors in the fourth inning, misplaying a hop on Brad Hawpe’s single to left field and letting Chris Iannetta’s single go off his foot as he charged to make a throw.
Catching on.
Iannetta made his 11th start at catcher and could continue to see more playing time based on his offensive output.

Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki escaped from the trainer’s room to watch batting practice. Not playing is obviously eating at him, but he said: “This will allow me to return refreshed, because I had started coming to the ballpark frustrated for the first time.” He remains unsure how long he will be out.
