BUENA VISTA, Colo.—An autopsy is scheduled Monday on the body of a Littleton man who died while running a race.
Authorities say 59-year-old John Marini of Littleton collapsed Saturday about 13 miles into the 25-mile course of the Collegiate Peaks Trail run in Buena Vista.
Chaffee County medical personnel performed CPR but were unable to revive Marini.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
