The Colorado Public Utilities Commission has selected Concentric Energy Advisors to independently evaluate Xcel Energy’s resource plan, which outlines how the utility will meet electric needs through 2015.
Also, regulators denied a request to reconsider their approval of Xcel’s plans to build two natural-gas combustion turbines at its Fort St. Vrain generating station.
