After an ineffective first start in a Rockies uniform, left-hander Jorge De La Rosa (0-1, 20.25 ERA) talked about the need to locate his fastball and get ahead in the count. “I have to be a lot better the next time,” he said. Against the Dodgers, De La Rosa gave up nine runs on nine hits in just four innings. The Cardinals’ Kyle Lohse (3-1, 3.79) dominated the Rockies on April 1, allowing just three hits over five innings.
