DENVER—The Democratic National Convention Committee has chosen a Colorado woman to design the credentials for the August event in Denver.
The DNCC announced Thursday it had selected Arvada-based graphic designer Kristi King.
The committee says King will incorporate landmarks and images “reflecting Denver’s rich history and diversity” into the design of the credentials, which will be distributed to delegates, media members and guests.
This marks the first time in 36 years the DNCC has chosen a local designer to create the credentials.
King says pleased to be part of a project highlighting Denver’s history while being as “green” as possible.
The committee says the credentials will be printed on 100 percent post-consumer recycled chlorine-free paper.
