Everyone’s favorite gastronomic club for ladies, the Colorado Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, will honor longtime member (and everyone’s favorite food writer) Ellen Sweets with a beer tasting dinner at LoDo’s Wynkoop Brewing Co. on May 28. Cocktails (paired, one hopes, with beer) served at 6:30 p.m., followed by a four-course meal. $40 a ticket; reserve a spot by May 26 by calling the Wynkoop at 303-297-2700.
