The Douglas County-based provider of voice, Internet and data networking solutions reported a first-quarter loss of $944,000, or 1 cent a share, compared with a loss of $13.8 million, or 10 cents a share, for the same quarter a year ago.

The company credited the increase to strong growth, offset by an increase in depreciation expenses related to new capital assets.
