•Played four seasons of major junior with the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League, including one season as an opposing center in the Blades’ matchup against Joe Sakic and the Swift Current Broncos.
•Spent two seasons as a New York Islanders farmhand in the American Hockey League, scoring one goal in five games with the Isles in 1987-88.
•Head coach of North Battleford in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (one season); Swift Current (five seasons); Cleveland Lumberjacks of the IHL (one season); and the Houston Aeros of the AHL (four seasons).
•Assistant with Detroit since 2005-06 season.
