Pregame ritual: Before I pitch, I listen to a song and always have to have a white shirt under my jersey.

Time management tip: You just take one thing at a time, take it as it comes; don’t get ahead of yourself too much.

Planned career: Business, with a minor in communications; signed with South Mountain Community College in Phoenix.

My family: Parents Darwin and Marcey, sisters Katie, Kristyn and Kelsey.

What I like most about high school sports: The small-town feel of it. Everyone knows who you are. Lots of old-timers follow your games.
