EVANS — Thieves stormed a construction site last week, making off with more than $100,000 in equipment and materials, police said.
Sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday, “a number of individuals” drove onto the construction site of the Sam’s Club at 3247 23rd Ave. and stole multiple items, including a 16-foot flatbed trailer, two electric welders, two all-terrain vehicles, a Honda generator, tools and copper pipe, police said.
