This sculpture was created by a local Pueblo artist to honor all of the cyclists over past the 100 years who have competed in the Tour de France — and have lost. That’s right, lost! History has a way of forgetting all except the winners. Sometimes life is about more than winning. Just ask any support riders — who know they will never stand on the podium in Paris — what the Tour meant to them.
