Which is why Cañon City resident Travis Payne resorted to a size 22 Red Brassie and a 6X tippet to tempt a 10 1/2-pound cutthroat-rainbow hybrid recently.
“It took a long time to land him,” Payne said of battle on 2.4-pound test line.
