CARSON, Calif. — David Beckham, Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle scored in the second half to give the Los Angeles Galaxy a 3-1 victory over the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday night.
Donovan created a 1-1 tie in the 54th minute by scoring his league-leading ninth goal on a penalty kick. Then, in the 74th minute, Donovan freed Buddle with a pass into the penalty area, and Buddle converted from 10 yards. Beckham ended the scoring in second-half stoppage time with a 70-yard shot into an empty net for his fourth goal.
