Two men were killed when a car driven by a 69-year-old man slid on a highway covered with hail and sleet and crashed into a car coming the other direction.
Antonio Martinez, 69, and Curtis Lagerstrom, 44, were killed in the 8:30 p.m. crash on Highway 151 near Ignacio, according to a Colorado State Patrol accident report.
Martinez was driving a white 1990 Chevrolet south on the highway when his car slid sideways into northbound lane and was struck by a black 1995 Toyota T-100 pickup driven by Lagerstrom, the report says.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
