A 19-year-old man killed last night near Breckenridge after he slid on snow off a 150-foot cliff has been identified.
Michael Henthorne, a graduate of Summit High School, was identified this morning as the victim of the fall, according to the Summit County Coroner’s Office.
Henthorne was killed at about 5 p.m. after he lost control while sliding in the Mohawk Lakes area and fell off the cliff, officials say.
Two friends who were with Henthorne called the Summit County dispatch and with directions from the dispatcher attempted CPR unsuccessfully.
About 20 rescuers from several agencies responded. Henthorne was pronounced dead at the scene.
