Denver Water crews are continuing to repair a water-main break that has closed 23rd Avenue between York Street and Colorado Boulevard.

Repairs, which started Thursday and were originally expected to be completed today, are now expected to continue through Saturday.

Commuters are advised to use 17th Avenue or 26th Avenue.

The Denver Zoo can be accessed from Colorado Boulevard at 23rd Avenue.

A separate repair job continues at East Dry Creek Road at Jackson Street in Littleton. Dry Creek is down to one lane in each direction. Repairs are expected to continue through the evening. Commuters are advised to seek alternate routes.
