Fort Collins police are trying to locate the car belonging to a woman whose body was discovered in a home intentionally set on fire.
Police are searching for her dark blue 1997 Nissan Altima with a rear spoiler, said Rita Davis, Fort Collins police spokeswoman.
The front and back license plate holders have small red skulls, which look like cherries or dots from a distance, and a Colorado license plate 015KFH, Davis said.
Anyone with information about the car should call police at 970-221-6540.
Firefighters rushed to a home at 124 Yale Avenue at 11:13 a.m. Friday after a neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from an upstairs window on the west side of the home.
Crews found the dead body of a woman in an upstairs bedroom, Davis said.
The woman was identified this afternoon as Linnea Dick, 20, of Fort Collins.
According to the Larimer County Coroner, the official cause of death was asphyxia, and the death was a homicide.
Firefighters found a fire in the upstairs bedroom as well as a second fire in the basement of the home.
One cat was killed in the fire, and a second cat and a small dog were removed unharmed.
