The 16th Street Mall recycling initiative will be unveiled Wednesday.
The 16th Street Mall recycling program will accept glass, cans and newspapers in the same container. The Downtown Denver Business Improvement District will service the containers and consolidate the materials. The city of Denver’s solid-waste management division will collect the consolidated recyclables.
