A device that measures the solar resources available to supply power at the Lowry Range was installed Friday.
The rotating shadowband radiometer will take solar readings and collect data for up to two years. It will help developer Lend Lease Communities, with help from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the Governor’s Energy Office, to determine appropriate solar development at the site.
