QWEST: Announced that Kurt Fawkes will join the company as senior vice president of investor relations. Rahn Porter, currently leading Qwest’s investor relations, will become senior vice president and treasurer, replacing the departing Janet Cooper.
COLORADO STATE BANK AND TRUST: Appointed Del Arnold as vice president, private financial services, and Michael S. Bradley as assistant vice president in the facilities department.
SKYLINE ULTD INC.: Announced that James Gehring joined the company as president May 1. Geh ring recently completed more than 20 years of service in the Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.
THE JW MARRIOTT DENVER AT CHERRY CREEK: Announced that general manager Dani Stern was recognized with the General Manager Food and Beverage Leadership Excellence Award from the chain. The hotel also received a Customer Excellence Award for ranking in the top 2.5 percent of all Marriott Hotels in overall guest satisfaction.
DAVIS GRAHAM & STUBBS LLP: Matthew R. Perkins, Albert Givray and Andrew Sultan have joined the firm’s corporate finance and acquisitions practice as partners.
WIND CREST: The retirement community named Dr. Barbara A. Morris as the on-site physician.
STATE OF COLORADO: Gov. Bill Ritter appointed Robert Streeter of Fort Collins and Dorothea Farris of Carbondale to the Wildlife Commission. Ritter also appointed Peter Butler of Durango, Jill Harris McConaughy of Glenwood Springs and Janelle Barrilleaux of Golden to the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission.
