• The Associated Press erroneously reported in a story on Page 23A on Sunday that at least 21 U.S. military deaths occurred in Iraq in May. The death toll for the month was at least 19. The error occurred because of conflicting details in two death reports between the Department of Defense and the U.S. military in Iraq.
• Because of a reporting error, a story on Page 1A on May 28 said two Colorado hospitals, Swedish Medical Center and University of Colorado Hospital, perform deep-brain stimulation on patients. Porter Adventist Hospital also offers the procedure.
