Frontier Airlines won bankruptcy-court approval Tuesday to pay as much as $4.4 million to 65 executives under a severance plan.
Frontier has said the total cost probably won’t exceed $1.5 million and that it needed approval of the payments to retain key executives while it reorganizes.
The airline earlier this week resolved an objection from the U.S. Trustee, the arm of the Justice Department responsible for overseeing bankruptcies, by providing additional information on the plan.
