Gov. Bill Ritter told reporters this afternoon that he could announce his endorsement of either Barack Obama or Hillary Rodham Clinton later today.
Ritter is one of Colorado’s four undecided superdelegates and among a handful of governors nationwide who have yet to pick a presidential candidate.
As host governor to August’s Democratic National Convention, Ritter has said he would remain neutral because he has to work with both campaigns.
U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar, a Denver Democrat, and Democratic U.S. Reps. John Salazar of Manassa and Mark Udall of Eldorado Springs have yet to announce their endorsements.
