CINCINNATI — E.W. Scripps Co., owner of the Rocky Mountain News, said newspaper revenue will drop as much as 10 percent in the second half as sales from cable-television networks being spun off increase as much as 9 percent.
Scripps Networks Interactive Inc., which also includes the Food Network and Internet shopping site Shopzilla, is expected to increase sales in the “mid-to-high single digits” in the second half, the company said in a statement.
