• Because of incorrect information supplied by the Denver committee hosting the Democratic National Convention, a story on Page 1A Thursday incorrectly stated that a welcoming party for the 56 delegations to the convention would be paid for by the Friends of New Orleans. The host committee itself is paying for the delegate party.
• A story on Page 1B Thursday about a coal-dust fire should have indicated that the Colorado Springs Gazette contributed.
