Two men tried abducting an 8-year-old girl near Glendale on Thursday, according to the Denver Police Department.

The two men pulled the girl off her bicycle near Exposition Avenue and York Street, but she broke free and ran, police said in a news release.

Witnesses told police officers that the men were driving a small, white SUV with a broken tail light and a “Nuggets rule” bumper sticker.

Witnesses told police that one suspect is 40 to 50 years old with long, gray hair, blue eyes and a beard. He is white and about 6 feet tall.

The other suspect is in his 40s. He is white, has a mustache and goatee, and he is about 6 feet tall.

Police are offering $2,000 in helping them arrest the suspects. If anyone has information about the incident, police ask that you call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
