The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death after finding a dead body while checking on a report of a possible robbery.
Deputies found the body at about noon today after receiving the report on a possible robbery at the Whitewater home.
“Investigators are putting everything together to try to determine if it is suicide or homicide,” said Mesa County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Heather Benjamin.
No information about the dead person was available Tuesday evening.
