BROOMFIELD — Fire investigators in Broomfield are still trying to determine who set a fire outside a Safeway store Monday night.

The fire was reported about 9:30 p.m. Monday at 3600 W. 144th Ave. after a neighbor spotted flames on the side of the building.

Fire crews found the blaze burning in trash and wood pallets.

The fire was contained to the outside of the building, and no one was hurt.

The store reopened for business Tuesday morning.
