Two of his four career victories were at Pocono Raceway, and he finished third at that track in Long Pond, Pa., on Sunday to gain a series-most four positions in the standings. Hamlin climbed to fifth, giving Joe Gibbs Racing two drivers in the top five. First-year teammate Kyle Busch leads the standings with 2,084 points, 21 more than second-place Jeff Burton. Hamlin is 284 points behind Busch. Combined, Busch and Hamlin have won five of 14 races, with Busch leading the series with four.
