Colorado Springs police released a description of a sport utility vehicle used in a drive-by shooting that left two people dead Friday night.
Witnesses described a large, dark SUV with an all-silver rear bumper, possibly with a single, thin, white pinstripe on each side and dark-tinted rear windows. Two men were inside, police said.
Amairany Cervantes, 18, and Cesar Javier Ramirez Ibañez, 21, both of Colorado Springs, died from multiple gunshot wounds at Carmel Drive and Monterey Road. The two were posting signs for a garage sale when they were gunned down, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867). Those calling can remain anonymous and collect a cash reward.
