Tomatoes grown in Colorado have been cleared of any connection to the salmonella crisis, the Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday.

“Very few Colorado tomatoes are on the market right now, but those tomatoes harvested in our state have been cleared of any connection with the salmonella outbreak” said Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture John Stulp.

Colorado’s main tomato crop won’t hit the shelves for another month, he added.
