“How are we going to afford that impending champagne shipment?”
Denver’s desperately needed your help last week, and they got it in the form of the fundraiser BBQ at the on Sunday. The all-day party was mostly an excuse to drink and cavort with other music lovers, although the Donnybrookers did raise enough money to change that blasted pool filter — and get their scheduled pedicures the next day.
The tongue-in-cheek event offered a long list of excellent local acts, including indie rock mega-collective (which put on the day’s most energetic set, and field-recorded a sing-along for its new album on the Larimer’s back porch), , , , , , , and Jim McTurnan from .
