FREDERICK — The Denver archdiocese says the Roman Catholic priest convicted of indecent exposure for jogging nude in Frederick will stay on leave. The Rev. Robert Whipkey faces up to 18 months behind bars after last week’s conviction.
The 54-year-old was placed on leave in August and isn’t allowed to celebrate Mass, officiate at weddings or funerals or counsel parishioners.
