A 26-year-old man suspected of drunken driving was killed after he drove off an embankment in Loveland and crashed this morning, officials say.
Joel Embree of Loveland was pronounced dead after police were called to the scene on the 1600 block of South Taft at 9:17 a.m., said Sgt. Chuck Higney, Loveland police spokesman.
Toxicology tests will confirm whether Embree was intoxicated at the time of the crash, Higney said.
