DENVER — An ozone alert is in effect for metro Denver and the Front Range.
The Regional Air Quality Council said Saturday’s hot weather combined with clear skies and light wind could lead to increased ground-level ozone in the region.
The ozone alert covers the area from El Paso County north to Larimer and Weld counties. It will be in effect until 4 p.m. Sunday.
